Bemotrizinol is available in a plastic drum of 25 kg and must be stored in a closed container under dry, cool conditions. It has a minimum shelf life of 2 years under appropriate storage conditions. It is used in cosmetics, hair care, skin care, and sunscreen products. Bemotrizinol is a soluble, organic UV-BB filter (broadband filter) which protects the skin against both UV-B and UV-A radiation. The maximum concentration of BEMT is 10 %.
