Dilauryl thiodipropionate (DLTDP) is a white crystalline solid with a characteristic sweet ester odor. It is used as an antioxidant and sequestering agent in cosmetics and foods. DLTDP is slightly toxic when administered orally to mice and rats, but it is not an irritant or a sensitizer when applied to the skin.
