Ceramidone® is authorized for use in the EU, USA, Japan, China, and under conditions in Australia and Canada. It is a raw material verified by ECOCERT GREENLIFE according to the COSMOS standard and has a naturality content of >95% (ISO 16128). Octyldodecyl Pca is an emollient. L-PCA is part of the skin's Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) and has moisturising and hydrating properties. Cryogenyl is a mixture of Menthyl PCA, Octyldodecyl PCA and Butylene Glycol. When used in aqueous formulations, Cryogenyl can provide a fresh, cooling sensation to the skin. Cryogenyl can also help to strengthen the barrier function of the skin by promoting epidermal lipid synthesis, and thus improving cell cohesion. Octyldodecyl PCA is an emollient that helps to improve the skin's barrier function and prevent water loss. It is also a penetration enhancer, which means that it can help other ingredients in skincare products to penetrate the skin more effectively.
